I don't consider Houston beating Utah an upset since theyre pretty equal and Houston could end up with the better record and still be the 5 seed because the jazz are a division winner. Houston would have the highest chance if you consider that an upset. The other 3 are a tossup. Even though dallas, phoenix, and san antonio are elite teams and dominant compared to the others, they all have a chance of losing these series', for they are all first round traps. Denver is one of the most talented 6 seeds ever with a.i. and melo, and playing their best ball as of late. San Antonio does have the experience, but they can't shut down denver. I'd give denver a 30% chance of winning this series. Even though I'm a die-hard Mavs fan, I'm very scared at the thought of playing the warriors. They always seem to beat us, they really have the advantage over us, and they have our old coach, don nelson, so they know our gameplan. Golden State might have the 2nd most offensive firepower in the league behind the suns, and when they play their game for 48 minutes, they'll beat anyone. The mavs are the best team though, and gs will cool off. I'd give gs a 25% chance of winning this series. Phoenix vs. L.A. is interesting. The Lakers can win this series, and they showed it last year, but the suns have improved from last year when the series went 7, and the lakers have not. The only way the lakers will win is if smush parker and lamar odom are heros, buth on the offensive and defensive ends. You know what you'll get from kobe, but he cant singlehandedly take down the suns. I give the lakers a 10% chance of winning this series, they haven't showed me they can beat a good team 4 out of 7 times.

Absolutely, there are three teams that are going to be very upset while they wait for Utah and Houston to finish their series.
Oh, you mean lower seeded teams winning. Well, if Utah wins home court advantage, Houston faces an uphill battle in the first round, but can certainly get it done. As for the rest, if these matchups hold, none of the bottom seeds have even a 10% chance of making it out alive.
I'll give Denver the best shot because they are they are the most talented squad of the three lowest seeds. But when you consider that San Antonio is 56-21 while essentially resting their big three all season? Well, good luck with all that.

I think that Houston will easily beat Utah but that is not much of an upset. The only reason the Rockets aren't in the top 4 is because of injuries. Everyone is healthy now for them and they could do some damage.
I am not sure about this one but I can see Denver possibly beating San Antonio. If Allen Iverson and Carmello Anthony continue to get better playing together, then I think they have a good chance. Marcus Camby is a defensive force who could shut down Tim Duncan completely.
Golden State has a winning record against Dallas this year but they wont necessarily make the playoffs even. If they do, I think that the Mavericks will make the right adjustments to be able to pull out a series against them.
The Kobes have no chance against the Suns. The Suns are all offensive but they have plenty of it. Kobe will not be able to consistantly put up 60 points to hang with the Suns.

The only playoff matchup that will be close is Utah and Houston. They are seperated by less than a game i think so if either team ends up winning from 5th, i dont think that can be an upset since there so close.
Then again if Utah beat Houston it will be an upset because the Jazz have been playing BAD recently. They lost to the Blazers without Randolph!

I personally think there will be no upsets..but..
1. Golden state upsetting Dallas?.....Well, they have beaten them, but in the playoffs? 5 game series here....Dallas wont be upset.
2. Amare + Nash + Marion and so forth = goodbye Lakers. No....Unless the ref's let the Lakers mug them like they did last year.
3. Maybe....But the Nuggets never do well come playoff time...
4. Houston will win, but that isn't an upset...
Well...i guess i gotta go with answer 3....Denver over San Antonio (but it probably wont happen...)

I have a feeling Its the Phoenix Suns Lakers Game Kobe is out seeking revenge for last years playoffs when the Suns beat the Lakers In Game 7 watch out for this game its gonna be all Dunks Alleyoops & a lot of Offense & Lamar Odom has gotten better and is dangerous from the outside expect Kobe to score 50 in one or 2 games in that series.

4 vs 5 are never considered upsets
they're almost even money
The best chance from the rest is the Lakers beating the suns
they should have beat them last year and the big men could be too much for them this year as well. Playoffs are more physical and the suns don't like contact
