This question is geared towards the people that say "Well, black people do this and have that but if white people did it it would be racist!! BWAAAAAHHH!!!"

2. It is entertainment for black people becuase most of the programs are not geared to black people
3. How often do you see Black people represented in these pageants?
4. Whether you want to believe it or not there are gate keepers for these types of thing and black scholarship programs not only consider race but academic acheivement as well
5. When is affirmative action really used?
6. To uplift the black community. Black people only make up 13 % of the U.S. pop. these groups help to organize black people to improve black communities and to support one another.

I think some people can't understand why black people have these organizations because they weren't born when there was alot of open racism in the country toward black people, so they don't how blacks have been degraded. All they see is that black people have things that they don't don't and it makes them upset. Older people do know, they are just racist and dumb.
