Stalkers can be very dangerous people as we have all seen,If you don't know this person I would learn how to shoot a gun well and carry it with you and get a permit.Make sure you fill out a police report that you are being stalked and call them any time he contacts you.Keep dates and notes for reference and police.Good luck.

Get evidence of several different occurrences at different places either on you digital camera, video camera or cell phone with picture capability. Then turn them in to the police or place of work if it is happening there. The person must not be able to establish that this happened during a necessary part of him/her doing his job, but if you are at work with this person, it is possible for intermediaries to communicate between the both of you to allow for contact to be severed.

contact your local police department information/referral line. They should have some solid advice. If there is someone constantly phoning, also call your telephone company and find out how to put traces on your unwanted calls and find out how what information you need to keep regarding this for the police. One or the other should be able to tell you.

Call the cops and get a written report. If it continues, you have to do it again. After the 3rd time, they will be arrested and charged with stalking. They'll most likely give him some time behind bars.Good luck.

A well-sharpened stake through the heart...or whatever part of their anatomy seems to drive their stalker-ish tendencies.

Keep a log of when he calls or follows you etc. The phone company also has a way to track his calls. Then go to the cops and ask them to help you. You need to take this seriously.

Talk about embarrassing stuff. For instance, make up some disease for yourself (STD's or something) or say you are looking for a man who will commit to a relationship and get married...wait, that may keep him coming. Um, hmm....tough one. Tell him to get away. I have the same problem but i am too nice to tell him to leave me alone. Maybe you are.
