I have such small eyes and I always have trouble making them more noticable. So, I was wondering who had some nice tips on working with the "windows of our soul."
They are a brown color and I have small eyelids.

Brown eyes are perfect you can put any color eye liner on them, outline your bottom eye with white liner because it will make them pop out. I would recommend like purple or green liner. add some mascara and some white eye shadow right under the eye brow

Get a nice eyeshadow to go with your skin tone for instance if you have whiter skin you could wear a brownish or a peachy pink and eyeliner ALWAYS!makes your eyes pop out applie it under the eye part but don't over do it! then wear a really black mascara (eyeliner on the top lid is bad for you) and wear a pretty blush. Good luck!!

well i have big eyes to begin with. but you can still use a tip. since your eyes are smaller use eye liner of course but do not draw the liner all around the eyes instead for you you want to open them more so you would only put them like this sign > so another words you only draw a bit on the corners of the top and bottom lid at the corner of your eyes so your opening them up not closing them. I use to wear my eyeliner in the inner eye lids its very striking and very defined and dramatic peircing like but as you get older it looks to cheap looking . less is more as you age lol.

and use mascara of course lift the eyelashes as well and they will help open your smaller eyes. and use lighter shades of shadow not to dark so they dont' make your eyes even smaller .

1) Curl your lashes before applying mascara.

2) Apply eyeliner only against the top lash line. Dark navy gel liner (ex. SmashBox or Bobby Brown) will make your blue eyes stand out.

3) Line the inner rim of your lower lid w/ white pencil eye liner.
This will make your eyes appear larger but you must be careful. Some professionals do not recommend lining the inner rim of the lower lid because of the risk of irritation or infection.

I was told by a make-up artist to put white eyeshadow (just a touch) on the inside corner of my eye (at the tear ducts) to make my eyes stand out more.
