What do you think would be a good theme for my upcoming birthday party? I'm really into the cultures and stuff; like Irish and German. Nothing too advanced, just a simple at-home party, and no drinking. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

If you are really into cultural stuff then I suggest a little of all. Theme your party as "A trip around the world" that way you can have a little of everything and this could be fairly inexpensive since you can buy a little of anything and everything that is on sale. Your party favors and decorations can be chaotic yet organized because it is a "trip around the world" have fun and I hope this helps a little. Happy Birthday!

No drinking...then I would say Irish and German would be out!! You could have everyone dress from their cultural background and have them all bring a main dish or dessert from that background...could be fun!
