Any kind of cramping pain should be checked out, it might be nothing but its better to find out than sit at home worrying, especially if doesn't go away.

Some pain is normal, what kind of pain are you having?
It could be your uterus stretching, or any number of ligaments or muscles. It could be normal cramping that occurs during early pregnancy.
If at any time you are worried about pain, call your OB's office. If you have a good OB the nurse or OB will be able to tell you if you need to come in over the phone.

When I was eight weeks pregnant, I felt abdominal pains just like menstrual pains and cramps. What I would do if I were you is to go to an obgyne and have the doctor check up on you to be sure. By eighth week, I was able to see my tiny baby and hear the heart beat. There's this thing inserted and the medical technician explains the "cavity" where the baby is.
Check it out

Many women experience menstrual-like cramps in early prengnacy, as well as some back pain and also what feel like "side aches." This is due to the uterus stretching and growing and isn't anything to worry about.
You should only be concerned if you have very painful cramping on one side that won't go away, or if your cramps are accompanied by bright red blood.

If you're scared, call your OB. Cramping can be normal if it's mild. It could be ligaments stretching and feel like cramping along your lower tummy area. I'm not sure what kind of pain you're having, but really, don't ever be afraid to call the Dr. They are there to help!

"The sciatic nerve is the largest nerve in the body, providing sensory and motor function to the lower extremities. This nerve provides sensation to the back of the thigh, lower part of the leg and the sole of the foot. Sciatic nerve pain is a periodic severe pain that occurs throughout your legs.
What causes sciatic nerve pain during pregnancy?
The sciatic nerve runs under your uterus to your legs. The cause of sciatic nerve pain is thought to be associated with pressure on the nerve caused by the developing baby.
What can I do to treat sciatic nerve pain during pregnancy?
The simplest remedy is to lie on your side, opposite of the pain. This may help relieve the pressure on the nerve. Avoid heavy lifting and minimize standing for long periods of time. If you experience pressure while standing, try elevating one foot and resting it on something. Swimming may also ease discomfort.
You may experience relief by applying heat or cold to the troubled area. Your health care provider may recommend acetaminophen to relieve the pain.
It is important to contact your health care provider if the pain becomes constant, or increases in severity or frequency. "

Your stomach might feel sort of "crampy" and your pelvis/back might hurt. Your breasts may also be extremely sore.
