A lot depends on how long you have worked there and the time gap between these incidents my husband was a retail manager and this is his comments - IF you feel the need to go outside for fresh air you ASK permission and give your reasons, not tell someone what you are doing You ASK permission to go to the toilet or to get a drink, not assume it is ok to simply wander off and do as you please If you had been previously warned and taken no notice, then they are perfectly entitled to give you a final warning as you have taken no notice of the first warning It doesn't matter how long you were away, it is the fact that you left without asking permission and that is what is at stake, not the length of the unauthorised break. If you choose to appeal, you must give reasons for any appeal, and you can only base that on the fact that you misunderstood the severity of your unauthorised actions

Nah, just give them a little smack on the rear and they'll forget the whole thing.. :)
I'm not sure if you should appeal. I guess it depends what the warning involves. .. ....
Just make sure they write down exactly what was said, so that it doesn't look worse down the road if they use it against you. It must suck to work there..

It depends on how the women that you made the comments around feel. Personally I think it was kindof funny...and true...so *shrugs* I don't think you diserve to get written up but people today are so paranoid about possibly maybe offending others they get pushy about stupid things.

Did you sign it? If you did then I don't think you have any recourse. But my guess would probably be you deserved it and are laughing right now that you almost got away with something

Oh my God, you need to just tell them to shove their job and find a better place to work where the people actually have a sense of humour! I thought your comment was funny!

I dont think you deserve it but i dont think you will be able to appeal it either depends on what they classed it as e.g bulying. I thought it was funny (and true)

Verbal sexual harassment are no laughing matter. You just have to be careful that certain things are too sensitive and taboo in the office.

If you appeal it you may well lose your job, I would just take it on the chin, apologise to the ladies concerned and let it go.

You should probably just let it go. You really don't have a "leg" to stand on. I'm not being funny, keep your job, too hard to find another one.
