My husband snores so loud he could wake the dead. Yes we have our own bedrooms. Don't get me wrong though, we are still very much in love and have been married for 20 years :)

I once dated someone who snored. It was horrible. This was one of the main reasons why the relationship didn't last.
It's really, really difficult to function on little sleep and to wake up constantly during the night. Turns you into a walking sleep-deprived zombie.
I really had to ask myself whether I could endure being with this person forever. I had to ask myself if I was willing to live sleep-deprived for the rest of my life. I dreaded to go to sleep every night, just because of the snoring.

As for you sleeping in the other room. No, that is not a good idea. The snorer should sleep in the other room. Why should you be kicked out of your nice, warm bed in the middle of the nigt to sleep on a little couch? By asking the snorer to leave, you'll give him (I assume it's a him?) maybe the incentive to do something about it. Get nasal strips, lose some weight, see a doctor to figure out what's wrong. Maybe he has sleep apnea?

....I feel your pain. Been there. And the snorer is no longer in my life. Ah! The joy of uninterrupted 8 hours sleep! Good night.

Yes, and we only sleep in the same room during the summer, that's when we have the fan on. It drowns out the snoring.

My boyfriend snores really loud, but i don't sleep in another room. This is because i usually fall asleep before he does so i don't have to hear his snoring!

Yes he is calling the hogs right now. We only sleep seperately sometimes. I hate sleeping without him so most of the time he just lets me fall asleep first so it won't bother me. He only goes in his bedroom to sleep if I have the heat up high (he hates the heat) or if I am mad at him. Just this weekend I put him out and instead of sleeping in the spare room he slept on my youngest son's bottom bunk. About an hour later my 4-year-old came in my room with his covers and bear ans said, "I don't know how you sleep with him". I am still laughing at that. But we do have seperate rooms, I hate sharing the bathroom with him and my sons (so I keep the master bath) and I need all of the closet and drawer space. We joke that our next house is going to have two master bedrooms.

he used to snore & i've thought about sleeping in another room. but ever since we had his tonsils removed, he snores a lot less, from a reverberating 10 to a soft 1, i now fall asleep faster without having to kick his butt so i could fall asleep while he resettles back to his snoring.

Only when he's really, really tired. No I don't sleep in another room, I find it adorable. I just snuggle up and let the rhythm of his snoring lull me back to sleep.

Yes he snores and yes we sleep in separate beds. We are both grumpy at each other if we sleep in the same bed... me for not sleeping due to the snoring, and him for not sleeping due to me elbowing/kicking/punching him throughout the night.

Yes he snores like you wouldn't believe.
My friends think its funny and I s'pose I would if it wasn't me who was only getting 2 hrs sleep a night. But seriously, I'm so exhausted sometimes that I start wondering if its worth it!!
We always start off in bed together but normally I end up kicking him out in an enraged fit of tears!
