Electric Wiring? should I use 12/3 or 16/3 wire to rough in some plugs and lights?

12/3 is heavier and with most codes. 16/3 is very thin it could break just trying to run the wire through the studs.

anytime your wiring in new plug ins and light always use 12/3 for safety's sake because you dont know what all will be on them later on.....16/3 should not in any circumsatnce be used for plugins or light circuits

on a 20 amp circuit breaker, use 12/3... and on a 15 amp circuit breaker use 14/3... I would never use 16...

12/3.........16/3 is to light
