Reffering from the last question of mine.

Today at school, we have to hand in the book report we had to do. Then my teacher forgot to tell us to hand them in. Then I remind him, most of the students don't did their book report. Most of the students got a zero, most of the students got mad at me. Is this the right thing to do?

I know that kind of question very well. In middle school lots of kids make fun of each other, actually everyone does. but the key is to know that no matter what as long as you're being the person that you want to be than nothing can bring you down...Because the second those "cool" people get to high school, they realize that they only judge others to comfort they're low self esteems. The feel inferior to anyone smarter, funnier and better dressed and make themselves feel better by making you feel bad... don't give in be yourself, and remember they only do it because truthfully they know that you are better than they are and that bothers them..

Of course you did the right thing. You were responsible in that you completed your assignment when you were supposed to. They didn't. They will have to learn to be responsible at some point....the world is not an easy place.

I struggled so much with what others thought of me while I was in HS. I look back now and wonder why I put so much emotion and energy into it when it didn't really matter. I know it's easy for me to say that when I'm not in your shoes, but hang in there...it will get better!

In general , people are strange self centered idiots and
I never did care what they thought , soooo
I never had a stopping issue .
What you should care about is what people you actually respect & admire think of you .
Never waste time worring about what the masses think tho.

Re update: Next time , walk up AFTER class and hand him the report , saying , "here is the report you asked for".
Yours will be in and you won't have tanked everyone elses day .

When I was in school, I quickly learned only to look out for yourself, because 4 years down the road, you won't know these people. If you took the time to do the work, you should be compensated with a grade. Becuase the others were to lazy, thats their problem.

Well, I didn't read your last question but what you think of you is the only thing that matters. Live your life right and you will feel happy and confident in your choices and what others think will no longer matter. I suggest you read "The Four Agreements" and make these a part of your life. Trust me, it will help!
