How am I supposed to answer this? What's the question? Are you crazy? If so, the answer is maybe. See, you may not be completely crazy, because I kind of know how you feel. I have the biggest obsession with The Outsiders. I've read the book five times in four weeks. I cleaned up my brother's nasty room for money to buy the movie. I mean, I probably know every word to the movie and book. I've analzed every detail. I understand what you're saying. I have this huge obsession with Sodapop from the book (not the actor, just the character.) I mean, he could be the ugliest person and I would still hink he was hot. It's because he has a heart of gold, just like the guy from The Phantom of the Opera. He was totally in love with Christine and she never really loved him. It might have seemed like it at a point, but it was just pity. That's what made the Phantom so angry. I personally would have hate rather than pity any day, but that's just me. She always loved that other guy. Even though she hadn't spoken to him in like forever. I mean, the one of the reasons that Christine turned down the Phantom was because of his face. I wouldn't care, as long as he respected me and was nice. The Phantom DID respect her and was nice, in his own weird way, but yeah, he was nice to her. That's all. Hope it helps, bye!!!

This love affair with a movie character is doomed. Even if you admitted to being in love with the actor, that would make you a bit more normal. The character, the story and events are all fiction. You are the equivilant to those geeks who believe "Star Trek" is more than just a show, that it is a way of life. This is 2007 and not the 1870's. Even all of Paris knows that.
Find a real boyfriend, he might not live up to your ideal, but he is somebody real who can love you and hold you.
If you are lucky, he will enjoy the movie and the musical as well; but try to live your own story; not the made up story by Gaston Leroux with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber.

I understand what you are going through because I've been going through the same thing with Will Turner from Pirates of the Caribbean for 4 years now. I mean I'm attracted to Orlando Bloom, so that might have something to do with it, but I just ADORE the character of Will Turner. Who wouldn't want to fall in love with him?
I cry when I see the Captain Jack and Elizabeth kiss because of Will's reaction to seeing it.

If you're serious, you've got it pretty bad. Try distracting yourself with a different obsession.
