Ok, I'm planning on wearing a white dress shirt, black tie, black slacks, and a black zip up hoodie. Is this going to look all right? I really don't have much fashion sense besides making sure that it matches pretty much.

it sounds fine for just walking around a campus, as u mentioned, as long as the hoody isn`t all ripped, faded, etc...

okay it would be fine as long as the hoodie isn't faded....but take this into consideration...forget about the black slacks and wear tan khakis and don't wear dress shoes wear a pair of black and white classic converse...and maybe instead of a black hoodie find a tan or a red or burnt orange one(don't be afraid of color) and wear a black blazer or sports jacket over it...hoodies and blazes together are very fashionable...their a lil out of season b/c of the time of the year.....but there's a cold front so it's acceptable...

sounds good, exept a hoodie doesnt go with that. and dont you think thats a bit dressy for walking around a university?

it all sounds good but instead of a hoodie try a blazer or sports jacket so you wont have much dressy dress appeal

depends what you are dressing up for... Id say if its a newer hoodie (not all faded, etc)and you arent going someplace super fancy you will look ok
