i am stumped please help me !!?

if i am standing exactly at the south pole and take a step in any direction whitc direction are tou heading ?? i think you would have to be heading north no matter which direction you step !! am i correct in thinking that or is it possible to go another direction ????

That's right, you would have to be heading north...
