Over a year ago, I was working at a job I hated. It was a terrible day and I really wanted to just go home. Finally, it was coffee break. I went into the office to get to the kitchen. I noticed a little box with a jacket over it. Being an animal guy, I instantly thought there was something in there. But being in a bad mode, I kept going. On my way back, tea in hand, I saw a friend of mine holding a little three week old kitten.
I punched out right then and there and spent the next two hours warming the kitten and eventually, got it to eat. I went home with the little kitten and raised it by hand. Bottle feeding, every four hours for the first two weeks and hand feeding until he was strong enough to eat on his own. He died on me twice and I brought him back. Today, he is my cat and we're very close. I have other animals in the house but my cat and I closer than I've ever been to an animal.

I still have my favorite pet. I have a 14 year old Miniature poodle. I lover her so much. She is the best because she is a really good dog... She is obedient and is very calm. Even when she was a puppy. She is very mellow and really cool.

Well, growing up, my mom had a lot of cats. So I'd have to go with them, seeing as they're the only pets I really know.

Well my little chihuahua, Chico. He is the joy in my life and is the only thing keeping me coming home since my mom's hardly home. He keeps me company at night, comes to me when he's scared so I feel useful, is the only one happy to see me when I walk in, comforts me when I'm sad, and so on... Before my boyfriend he is all I had but now I have both... I've had him for almost 10 years now and I will be very sad when he's gone and I cant take him with me when I go to college...

My Red nosed pit was my favorite. He was a big baby, and he loved to play. Always full of mischief, but it was an endearing quality. And he never let no one in the house while I was gone! Good dog.

I've had two good cats . One was a few years ago. Her name was Mokey and she was perfect. Didn't dodge cars well though.
Next was Kitty Kitty. I loved him. He was docile and meowy. He could even open the door on his own. But he had to be put down.
*Sigh*

I'd have to say the 8 year old tuxedo cat I currently have. He thinks he's a dog...rolls over, begs, fetches....my wife and I have had him since before we got married.
