I think a blue/pink mix would be wonderful and appropriate. Good luck!

I like the pink/blue stripe idea. When they are older, they can pick a color together that they both like, if they are going to share a room long term. But for now, I think that is a great solution. It sounds like a lot of work though, make sure you don't wait too long to do it, or you'll be too tired to finish :) Instead of a white chair rail, since the bottom wall is white, why don't you alternate blue/pink for the chair rail. Like one wall the rail can be pink, the next wall it can be blue, then pink, then blue. Just to give it a little more color, but still look good. Whatever you decide, I think it'll look cute :)

I did pink and blue sponge paint all over the whole walls and pink and blue border around the top of the walls, it looked awesome! I wish I had a pic to attach.

Alright with a boy girl room go with nuetral colors, yes the blue and pink sounds cute but it also sounds highly feminine....while if you wanted to, some people design the rooms accordingly. half and half, make one half strictly girl and the other very masculine....you'll find a style that suits you and the babies accordingly...also check out different design books wallpaper always works....find one with bears on it, leave the molding white and from there up do some bears wallpaper....I think that that would be very cute.

We have a baby girl, and hubby didn't want a whole lot of pink, so we did a bright yellow because the hubby wanted her to "wake up to the sun"... (cute I thought) but I saw an episode on some HGTV show and their nursery was like a grey and like a pale yellow. It was the cutest thimg I've ever seen!

Have you already started? If not try a aqua color it's good for either. The room sounds wonderful. It's great you found coordinating decor. You could even do a beige color too. Post a finished product pic would love to see how it turns out!!

sounds gorgeous. Sherwin Williams has some paint which doesn't have the fumes or toxins. My friends brother in law is a manager there and he was able to paint the whole house during his wife's pregnancy without it bothering her.

green or light aqua is a good choice for a babies room as it cuts down on glare...they paint operating room this color for that reason..and its so soon they will not be babies any longer and you will have to paint the room a solid color..do it now..you will be very busy after they come and a light sage green goes with everything.
