We are visiting San Diego next week for a Convention next week and will be staying right next to Seaport Village. Where can I find cheap daytime and over night parking from Monday to Sunday? The hotel has valet parking only for $24/day.

I'd consider leaving your car at the hotel or not even renting one. San Diego has a great public transit system that includes buses, light rail etc. I would recommend just taking the bus system to and from the convention.

$24/day sounds ridiculous to me. Ca sucks every dime out of you that they can. I don't think there is a cheap place to park there. I lived there for 3 years and recently moved to Oregon where you can park at hotels for no fee and find other parking places for free. I think you're just going to have to pay to park at the hotel. Have fun. It's a lovely place to visit if you can afford it.
