Agreed. your tank will only become cloudy when you have bacterial bloom or algae bloom. Bacterial bloom is caused due to Too many water changes, too much filtration and a newly cycled tank.
Algae bloom is usually caused by over feeding, nitrates and phosporus levels becoming high.
Both are corrected easily with proper maintenance.

Let me assume you are having a freshwater tank. 100% new water in 100% cleaned tank will get cloudy more easily. Wait until the tank environment becomes more stable. Adding in small rounded gravels with average 3mm diameter will help the growth of beneficial bacteria to deal with the cloudiness.

Just clean the water regularly, about once a week by changing out 10 - 20% of the water.

Cloudiness is a normal part of the bacterial cycle in fish tanks. If you leave it alone for a week or so it should clear up. If you have goldfish, they produce alot of amonia which can cause cloudiness too.

I have a fish tank and I usually clean the rocks once a week, you put them in a container or something and kinda run your hands through it and soon, the rocks will be clean and so will the tank!

Get a good water filter and don't overfeed.
If it's a new tank it is normal for it to go cloudy twice in the first two week. it's just the GOOD bacteria breeding

Regular weekly water changes will prevent cloudiness in all but the most extreme situations. Start at 25% a week and if that doesn't do it, then go up to 30%.

fish tanks should not become "cloudy". they can get dirty...but not cloudy.
clean it out regularly.. but if it is "cloudy" its probably one of two things -
1. a chemical reaction. check the use by date on any chemicals, like water ager, that you are using.
2. over feeding. cut back on the food if yu dont find a chemical issue.
