best to see a doctor and taking a laxative when you have stomach pain is a no-no guys if its appendicitis or other it could be very dangerous. it says on laxative boxes not to take if in pain, so stop telling him this before he gets hurt!

Put a hot pack on your tummy to get the blood circulating and will help the pain. Go drink a lot of water, half water and half cranberry juice because it sounds like you could be developing a bladder infection. Also you can to go pharmacy and get OTC called AZO that will help.

Is there pressure when urinating, blood in urine, more pain? If this lasts more than three days go see a doctor. No choice because if you have a bladder infection it can move into the kidneys, and that can be very dangerous.

if your cramp is on the right hand side just below the rib cage...it could be gall stone in your gall bladder. Attacks occur when you eat fatty foods and hurts for about 4-8 hours. Hate to say it...but see a doctor. Get a ultra sound done and check for stones.

If it is really painful, you will have to go to the doctor, especially if you have something like appendicitis, because that is a dangerous situation. Mine burst, and, while I don't like going to the doctor either, I knew something was seriously wrong and that I had no choice but to go to the hospital. Stomach cramps can come from all kinds of things, though, even something silly like gas. You have to judge the duration and the intensity and make a decision based on that.

sounds like a uti to me but could be worse so you should go see a doctor. Herbal things you can try is just drink lots of cranberry juice and lots of water. I had kidney stones once and sometimes it hurt at the trail end of peeing and that was in my bladder. if it's kidney stones they will pass drink lots of fluid and my doctor actually said to drink beer as it causes you to pee alot and will help the stone pass. But you need to see a doctor especially since it's pain where pain should not be felt

Sorry hun... but thets your best bet....

You could have a serious bladder infection... which could transfer to your kidneys. At least CALL a doctor.

Does it hurt to use the restroom?

You COULD try using a laxitive... seeing if it's just a back up problem... but you should call a doc before even doing that

good luck to you

Well, hate to say it, but obviously you should go to the doctor. It isn't normal for a guy to have lower abdominal pain. That is a valuable area and anything could be going wrong, and if you don't take care of it, who knows what it could lead to.

Try a warm, moist compress (stick a damp handtowel in the nuker for about 30 seconds). Also try to breathe deeply....inhale for 10 seconds, hold it for 10 seconds, exhale for 10 seconds.
