start+all programs (at the bottom)+accessories+ entertainment+volume control
Now adjust your line in mic bar up. The higher that goes, the louder your voice will be in the recording.

u have to set the sound balance equal. not sure what u have. in windows movie maker u set audio level from music louder

go to the sound board and change it
i think its in the bottom right corner with all the little icons

mAYBE YOU HAVE VOCALS LOWER SOUND ON EQUALIZER PUT VOCALS UP OR MAYBE U RNT SINGING LOUD ENOUGH IF THAT DONT HELP ILL ANSWER AGAIN
