Golly General, you sure are proud of yourself. But since I asked a question I expect at least an answer that reqired thought. Not just a posted comment you put on any question. Maybe you should start using your head for more than just storing your brain. Thanks.

LOL, I hear you! We had 80s last week, and it has started out below freezing here for the last four days.

I need some of that warming, my peach tree is very unhappy right now.

They can barley get it right three days out. How the hey they gonna know what the forecast will be 100 years from now?
I rememer 10 years or so ago, I turned on the local mourning news and the forecast called for a nice day with no chance of rain. Somehow later that day we ended up getting a tonadoe outbreak.

I live in Maine - I expect a long, cold winter - but I also expect Spring. Here it is April 9 and last week we got 12" of snow and the forecast is calling for more snow this week.
I am forced to quote George Bush - only this time it's concerning Global Warming: "Bring it on."

Sometimes long-term forecasts are easier than short-term because they are stable.

For example, I can't tell you exactly what temperature a cup of hot coffee will be one minute after you put it in a room where the air is 40 degrees, but I can tell you what it will be 24 hours later - it will be just about at 40 degrees because it cooled until it reached equilibrium at the air temperature (while raising the air temperature very slightly).

Another example - I can't tell you whether next Sunday will be hotter or cooler than the day before or after, but I can tell you that this summer will be hotter than the season before and after it.

Ain't real science fun?

No I do not. In a way science is built on trust and I cannot trust political "scientists". There are some real problems with their vision of man made climate change. Long story short I think there is reason to be skeptical of what these people are saying.
