Good question. Why not just move the election up a year or two? Half of the Senate is campaigning like crazy, which means they are not doing their job nearly as good as is necessary, especially in a time of war.

Hopefully more. Honestly the primary system needs a shakeup. Why should Iowa and New Hampshire have so much say in who becomes President?

Let's start in Nevada next time and then move to Delaware and then to Colorado and then West Virginia....etc. and let Iowa and New Hampshire experience being irrelevant to the process.

And as a response to other states moving up their primary will cali move its up again next time? maybe they will have a new years day primary next time to attempt to be ahead of everyone else.

There are 11 altogether... and there are 9 or 10 more who are considering it. I guess the title "Super-Duper Tuesday" is right on.
