i'm planning on going to U next year.. ( hopefully) maybe.. uft?
sg? and i was wondering since i applied as.. a major in chemical engineering i was wondering.. if its possible to change into other fields of engineering such as.. electrical.. or.. computer? can someone tell me about this... and..
also.. i was wondering if anyone could tell me about chemical?
such as.. is it.. a good job? .. plan? work hours?? etc?

thanks alot :P...(...ya..i'm not doing so well in chem.. for.. g12..)..so i kinda lost hope..XD

Yes, your first year you will most likely take something like pre-engineering courses if you havent already (I did in high school, but most didnt) These would be like physics, calc, chem, etc, and probably and intro to engineering which will - like it says - introduce you to the different types of engineering, and Id suggest adding a computer science course in there too. So its completely possible to change after your first year.

ChemE's are one of the highest paid, but like any engineering, you can work tons and tons of hours, round the clock if you want. Its what you make of it, and where you find your talents lie. Im electrical and am even pretty specialized there.

Why are you choosing chem eng without any idea if it's a good job or what it pays? I mean that's crazy right?
