Simple things like making his favorite dishes,covering him up when he's napping on the couch,if he leaves for work not feeling well I call him to see if he's ok things like that thoughtful things that money can't buy!

take them some place really special, some place you've never been to together and put a lot of obvious effort into the whole thing... a beautiful garden, beach, park, ect. plan a picnic (with good food)... buy her flowers/jewelry/ or make her photo album/collage... just show that you love them by putting forth a lot of effort and pay attention to details!

My husband and I are strange. We usually insult each other out of the blue and then we both giggle. It gets my heart all aflutter.
For example, earlier today my husband came walking through the living room and without saying another word, goes "God you look hideous in that light."
I giggled madly.
