A degree in business admin is a well-rounded, generalized business degree. Go to www.salary.com to find out career and pay information. Also check out your library for career resources - there are so many things you could do, it would be too difficult to be exhaustive here.

The Business Administration degree is broad, with (depending on the institution) an opportunity to specialize in any one of a number of business areas, such as accounting, finance, management, marketing, economics and human resources.

College degrees are merely a foundation for learning. The degrees themselves usually do not teach you how to do a job. They teach you how to learn. They provide a good start. Most of what you need to know to be successful in your career is learned in real life experience.

Salaries for business degree graduates can be anywhere in a wide range, depending on the location and organization. High salaries and fierce competition usually go hand-in-hand.

You read about the high bonuses and salaries paid to investment executives, but it's not easy to get (and keep!) those jobs. These people are some of the most skilled and dedicated in the world. The stress is high but the rewards can be great.

You get out of your career what you put in. Those with an entitlement mentality will get exactly what they are "entitled" to, and that's not much.

Good luck to you.

When you become a Veteran, use your status to obtain a Govt. job in business. Then go for a Masters degree while working there. See where it leads you. That would probably be your best shot.
