I was just asking because she claims in all these interviews that she is a real artist and everything but she has yet to prove that to me. I think that she is a great singer but I also think that she perpetrates other singer's styles and tries too hard to be different even though you don't have to do so much.

I don't think she is 100% original, but I think most singers get ideas from other artists and are inspired by their style. The look she has now has been done to death so she can't take credit for creating something new, however I think she pulls it off well. I enjoy her music very much and I like her style but to me, her personality is what's fake.

I think she can hit the notes, but she lacks in emotion. I've heard the song Hurt and she sounds like she is barking orders at boot camp more than a hurt person.
Her strenth becomes her weakness because she goes all over the place which makes it impossible to understand what she is saying. Every song I've heard seems to be the same way including the song she wrote Ms Independent for Kelly Clarkson.

I think that she changes too much. Everytime I see something about her or a new video, she looks different. I love how she sings though. She can really belt it out. Better than Brittney even. =)

i think she's a real artist. she does copy styles of older artists that she admire. the only thing that annoys me is that she worries what others think of her.
