I ended up on the religeon page by mistake but decided to ask some questions. Just why is it that people on there can be very nice but you get some that are very hateful and just put you down all the time.

There are a lot of trolls on the religion page. These are not people who are interested in the subject but small minded immature folks who think it's "funny" to be nasty. Someone said that YA has degenerated into recess on the playground--I think that's a fair appraisal of some people's attitude.
However there are still some decent folks on here. Sorry you met some of the uglies but it won't be the last time.

If this is a question on being gay,..
I believe that it is because people , unfortunately most religious sectors, are afraid of things they do not know or understand.
Nowhere in a typical bible does it say that "Gay" is sin. In the Native American culture it is considered "Two Spirits". Some believe that being Two Spirited is a cross combination of understand both masculine and feminine souls. Most Two Spirited people were respected amongst their respective tribes because of their abilities to see the two sides.
In theology , that isn't the case. But I have gone by other creeds.
I have done my best to accept love in every which form. If that means "Two Spirited" , gay, bi, or whatever , then so be it. To me , it's love and passion.
Is God or the bible truly against Love and Passion? ....

Misery loves company. Surround yourself with people who are genuinely happy, and you have few conflicts. Those who are truly happy can weather through the tough times, they know that those times are part of life. They have a gift for remaining level headed when most others wouldn't be that strong. It is no different to any other page...that is life. But why do you ask so many questions in the LGBT page? It may make a difference if you place your questions in the relevant categorical pages.
