Babies develop at a faster rate if the water is warmer, such as 85 degrees, compared to 71 degrees. This also ages the fish faster. Make sure that you add rock or fish salt to the water because mollies are brackish fish, which means that they like salt in their water. Add about one handful per 10 gallon aquarium. You can go up to 1 teaspoon per gallon, but you have to see how the other fish can take the salt content.

Do not raise the heat. You could have been wrong when calculating the exact DAY she got pregnant. 28 days which is the average not 90, is just that an average. Depending on how mature your fish is will determine when she has her fry.

Water temps do not. Also, she could very well have had one, you missed it and it is still in the tank. Now she is pregnant again. This can happen up to 5 times with one breeding since once a male and female mollie breed, she can store sperm for up to 5 sets of fry.

1-25 fry at a time. All depends on your fish and the age.

The longest one of my females were pregnant was 43 days and she had 25. Then again 41 days later had 21, 38 days later had 20, 42 1/2 days had 22

not adequate space Mollies require a medium tank 20+ and a salt content cloth And cycling the tank Why cycle you ask properly solid question: Why: to verify a micro organism improve which will injury down the waist of fish, and eliminate the unfavourable chemical ingredients which includes ammonia How: set up a tank with the clear out, heater ect enable the tank to run in case you will get the clear out media of a longtime tank this could bounce start up the cycle. or you may desire to upload a small quantity of ammonia to the tank which contains a table spoon in line with gallon (NO FISH in the TANK) this could start up the cycle as properly. permit it run for 2-4 Weeks then you definately could upload a million or 2 Hardy fish(Croy, Pleco, Guppy) . 2 fish if that's a medium sized tank (20+) a million in spite of if that's a small tank (decrease than 20) they are going to injury the tank in it may desire to take a month till you an upload extra fish upload a small quantity (a million) pay interest to the PH and Ammonia stages do differences to the water weekly at first 10-20%

Thumbs up to LeeM. Mollies take an average of 28 days to have their little ones. And up to 5 set of fry from one breeding.

Longest my female went, in salt water at 82 degrees was Pushing 50 days and had 22-23 fry.

She could have eaten them if she had a few. I have never had a mollie eat any of the little ones. I have heard other people say they do.

Be patient. When she is ready she will have them. 28 days is just an average for the breed of fish, not an exact date.

live bearers can be pregnant between 28-90 days. the best way to tell if she's going to have babies soon is if she starts to "square-off" you can see this by looking at her face on and you should see points coming from her sides by the anal fin, with this sign she should drop fry within a day or two. she could also absorb fry if she feel threatened and birth again at a later date.

i have had this problem before with my guppy, her name is sunshine. i have asked a similar question like this before so if you'd like you can check it out. here is a link.
