True and False, and explain. .
a) The graph of a rational function cannot have both a vertical asymptote and a horizontal asymptote.

b) It is not possible to have a rational function can have three horizontal asymptotes.

The first is false
f(x)= x^3/(x-1)(x-2)(x-3) has three vertical asymptotes at x=1,2,3 and a horizontal asymptote y=1
The second is true There can be only two horizontal As.
one if x=>+infinity and another if x=>- infinity
