has any one else ever been told that they are addicted to music?

Question

last night my boyfriend told me that i was completly obsessed with music and that i needed to be put in some kind of therapy because i was obviously addicted he thinks i pay more attention to the newest song to hit the charts than him and i was just wondering if anyone esle has heard this or if i was some kind of freak of nature for having a strange obsession with music

thank you lees i have always been able to do that until he started telling me that then i tried not to listen to music all the time so i'm way behind on the new bands and songs that old one have come up with and I'm trying to catch up but he gets angry and then I have to suck up for a week just to get him to forgive me hes mean

i think he hates it so much because i have over 3000 songs on my computer but in all fairness not all of those are mine my friends and family ahve put alot on here to

Yeah, I have a friend that tells me that all the time. i don't keep track of the latest stuff, but I have over 40 gigs of music on my hard drive that I am always rearranging and adding to. I think the main reason she is upset is that I have more gigs in music than the size of her hard drive. But it's like I tell her, women like a man with a big hard drive.

I've never been told that personally but i know that i have an intense passion for music. I usually try to find or think of something in a musical stand point. For example, i can usually pin point when soemthing occurred by what songs were popular then, lol!
I used to buy a lot of music every week, but that habit has curved dramatically. I don't really like too much of what i hear in pop music nowadays so i keep my ears tuned in to lesser known artists, or i discover the brilliance of some of the legends. You are not a freak of nature for being this way...one day it'll come in handy when you find yourself on a game show and the question is what's the number one song in the country right now...for $25,000!!!!

I haven't been told that but I know I am one. I would rather listen to music than watch TV, and travel the world. Music is something that touches the soul in many ways that affect our every day. Music to me is part of the soul. You cant always live with it, but you sure as heck cant live without it.

me too, i`m totally obsessed with music & have been since i was a very young child...i remember my stepfather would reward me if i had been especially good by allowing me to listen to his beatles records with the headphones on... that is one of my favorite childhood memories....i used to beg to listen every day!!! music is my life...it`s always been there for me...it never lets me down, it cheers me up if i`m sad...so yeah, i`m pretty much obsessed!!!
