I think that is some of the worst music I have ever heard in my life. The dark lyrics with the nihilistic metaphors, along with the 'death grunts' and screaming into the mic sounding like cookie monster on steroids I believe is too much for women to be able to handle. I think it could really scare them and could give them nightmares or it could be a ver bad influence on them. Any time that I have had a girlfriend or wife, I never allowed them to listen to such rubbish and if I had of found out they were listening to it, I would have taken out their car radio.

I like death metal. I liten to whatever the hell I want to. Who are you to dare to think you can "allow" someone to listen to something or not?
Fine, don't allow women to listen to metal. In turn, us women won't allow you to jerk off anymore. It's not like you can get any real action with this attitude, anyway...

what is WRONG with you! dont you think adults can make their own musical listening choices. what difference does it make if they are a woman or not?
I used to listen to death metal all the time, there ARE actual words involved, not just screaming and grunting. Just because YOU dont understand it doesn't make it wrong. I dont listen to it as much as i used to, but i still do sometimes. I also know a few people who are in death metal bands.
I will admit there aren't nearly as many women fans as men fans, but I'm not afraid of getting into or even starting a mosh pit. even if I have been knocked out a time or two.
And I have never heard of anyone getting night mares from music. that is just plain ridiculous.

Personally, I feel music is an incredibly important part of life and yes, I am a woman and have listened to death metal by choice. There are actually female death metal groups, believe it or not. But along with death metal I also listen to regular rock, jazz, country, pop, classical, you name it, I listen to it. I could listen to Kittie one minute and Charlie Parker the next. If it bothers you that much, you need to confront who ever it is that listens to it and express your dislike for the music. Don't get rid of the radio and certainly don't tell others what to listen to! Hopefully the music lover will respect you and not listen to it while you are around!

Well, personally, I think that nobody should listen to anything that gives such a negative message. Women are people too. We can listen to it if we want. So can guys. But death metal gives the negative message to both women and men. If I had a boyfriend listening to that, I'd make them quit. It's like drugs. But anyway, don't make it sound like women shouldn't have some rights. Both men and women should have equal rights, because we're all people.

Excuse me? Too much for women to handle? What planet are you from? Women can listen to whatever they want, for crying out loud! I don't know where people get these wacked out ideas that women can't handle as much as men.
Why the heck would it give people nightmares, anyway? It's just music.
But I do agree, the music is so full of crap that it doesn't even deserve to be called music.

Growls- Basically you're going to try to do a soft "Gurdge moan" then push it out as hard as you can practice it a lot and it will get louder and better Gutturals- Attempt after becoming familiarized with growls, you're going to constrict your throat and it will make a gurgly noise, keep doing it and it will get better. High Scream- Basically its a whisper with a cough. It works if you do it right but after awhile you'll be able to scream whenever and wherever you want, this one takes most time to master (for me it did) Inhales- I WOULD SUGGEST NOT TO ATTEMPT THESE...THE HAVE A IGHER CHANCE OF DAMAGING YOUR THROAT AND ARE CHEAP LOL.

its a free country and women should be allowed to do and listen to whatever they want as long as like theyre not underage or anything
but just because its crap to some people it doesn't mean its bad music
some poeple love it
and since they can't play it or dont want to, they can listen to it
i mean, i hate it too but m in love with punk rock and i blast it all the time but my parents are totally soft-music people and THEY dont seem to mind.
i think you should leave you girlfriend/wife alone if she wants to listen to death metal. and if you dont like it just ask her if she can listen to it at a time when youre not there because you cant stnad it
but if you take away what someone wants from them they'll never come back to you
