Avon's Skin So Soft works best. No sticky residue, although it does leave a bit of greasy residue, but you can wash that away with soap.

WD-40 will take the sticky stuff off, or you can just rub vegtable oil on it and leave it sit for awhile then wash with hot soapy water.

You can find GOOF OFF at a home improvement store like Home Depot. It works great for paint and all kinds of sticky stuff!

My husband uses Sticker Shock. It is a really good product that removes sticky items like bumper stickers and other things. I hope this helps.

soak the bottle in acetone or any adhesive remover. Your bottle smell, but the label will be off without the gum

nail polish remover usually works when I need to take a label off--but it depends on the glue used for the label whether the nail polish remover will work quickly (the stronger you buy, the easier it will come off)

I use peanut butter. Just coat the label, scrub with a cloth, then wash in soapy water.

Hot soapy water and a scrapper of some kind. I use a butter knife or nylon scrapper. Works every time. I've cleaned many a baby food jar this way for crafts.

Steam from a kettle is one way and hot water is another(NOT TO BE USED ON PLASTIC BOTTLES,it will deform them and you could get burnt).
