Depends on who or what you are when you ask the question, if you are a dancing fairy well then thats easy its in the shape of a snowdrop in spring, a bluebell in summer. From an angels perspective its a spinning 3 dimensional star of David. If you are a dog its a black and white bone. If you are a bull its a red flag, and if you are my daughter its a see saw margerie doggy daw.

By definition the Earth must be geoid. Even if it were a cube it would be geoid.

Geoid just means 'Earth shaped'.

Zenithomega! How can it spin faster at the poles than at the equator? It has the same angular velocity (1 rotation per day) at all places on Earth. It has a larger linear velocity at the equator as that's further from the axis of rotation.

The Earth is a sphere, hopefully you know that. The spherical shape is caused by the forces of gravity pushing down on the Earth, pretty much equally in all directions, forcing it into a spherical shape.

It may not technically be a sphere, but the difference between the true shape and a perfect sphere is lass than 1%, so for most everyday purposes it is spherical. And solid.
