I read about them in CosmoGirl!, but i researched it online and i cant find anything about it. If anyone knows how to make one, please tell me please.!!!! =]

I don't know whether this is what a magazine like Cosmogirl would write about. When I was a child in the forties, one of us would get some string from some source...we didn't have much then. We could tie them around our ankle or wrist, at our will, because we wanted ours to last longest. The string wold be tied with an loose overhand knot in one of the ends and then the other end of the string would go around wrist or ankle and follow the other strings path through the overhand. The interwoven overhands would be gently tightened until clinched. then the length of string would be cut and the next person would have the string placed.
The end of it is the knots were strong, but the rest of the string would wear. The last to have a complete bracelet or anklet got a wish that we were absolutely convinced would come true.
