Many people have given their children cereal earlier than the recommend age and will tell you it is fine, however, let me add that studies do indicate that this is not good for your baby.

One their digestive system is not mature enough yet to handle breaking down the food and disposing of it properly. Two children who start "solids" earlier than recommended are more likely to have food allergies.

You should be feeding your baby as much formula as s/he wants. If they empty the bottle offer another 2oz until they are full.

According to the Baby Center: "By the time he's about 1 month old, he'll probably be up to 3 or 4 ounces at each feeding and will consume 18 to 32 ounces in one day. From the age of 2 months to 6 months, you should be feeding your baby 4 to 6 ounces at a feeding, and he'll take in 23 to 32 ounces a day. " However this is only a guideline. If your baby wants more give them more.

Why are you only giving her 3 oz ? The bottles the hospitals give you to take home are 4. Just add another oz and see if that helps. No cereal yet, wait till about 4 or 5 months before you do that.

Do not give her cereal!! It is far to young.
My 2 1/2 week old drinks about 100 - 125 ml (31/2 to 4 oz) It should indicate on the tin of formula on how much to feed but remember it is only a guide you baby may need a tad more or less.

If 3 ounces isn't enough offer her 4 ounces at each feeding. She is much too little for cereal. Generally babies are 4-6 months old when solids are first introduced. Newborns will typically consume 2-3 ounces of formula every 3-4 hours and by 4 weeks are up to 4 ounces every 4 hours.

If she's still hungry, feed her more. Babies will increase their food intake as they grow. They also hit growth spurts periodically where they want to eat more and more. One growth spurt happens at around 6 weeks. So it's important to satisfy her hunger with more milk. Cereal will just fill her up at this age and she needs the nutrients and calories from the milk, not the cereal. Her digestive system is also very immature at this point and may not be able to handle cereal. So, just feed her milk until she is satisfied and hold off on the cereal at least until 4 months old.

No, cereal is for 4 months or older.

Give the kid more time on the breast or feed her formula.

My kid wanted about 5 to 7 oz three or four times a day.

OK you got a lot of answers on this question. Is this a serious question. This is your second question about milk. The first was 5 ozs. this is 3ozs. So what is it 5 or 3ozs. Why pump milk then give it to your baby. Just breastfeed your baby, the baby will stop when full.
