bored 60 over/ my cam is one step above RV towin cam/ new crank from cloyes/ cast iron vorteck heads/ rpm airgap intake/ holley street avenger carb 670 i think?/ comp cam rods and roller rockers/ what do u think?

In order to be a stroker, you have to have a new crank with a longer stroke and new piston rods. The stroke is the key to being a stroker.

Nope. A 383 Stroker is a 350 block bored 30 over, and has the crank shaft stroke length of a 400 cubic inch block.

Despite the definition, sounds like a decent setup!

A stroker is a motor that has had a longer stroke crank installed . This is good for lower rpm power . A larger bore is good for higher rpm .

Toad nailed that one. stable deal! inventory SB 350 bore 4.000 30 over is 4.030 60 over is 4.060 i does not difficulty approximately over heating or the cylinder wall being to skinny. That Chevy can cope with it. i've got had Many +.060 SBC's. i could wager approximately 5-8hp earnings and 10 feet lbs torque over inventory bore. stable luck

A .060" overbored 350 ends up at about 361 cubes.

350 bored.030 over and a 400ci rods and crank give ya 383 ci

Simply measure the crankshaft stroke. It should read 3.800 no if's and's or but's







An actual 383 has a 4.030 bore with a 3.750 stroke.
