I did get a package in my home, they didnt knock the door, they just left it outside of the door, then i took it in my home , then i was reading to know who will be the owner, and i saw another address, then its supposed to be in other home, no in my home, i was waitin till they come to pick it up, but this happend 3 weeks ago and they havent come to pick it up, and i didnt call them cause i dont have the phone number, its close FedEx from my home , but we dont even pay attention to take it there

My question is this, are they responsible for the package , i mean the owner it could be so mad , but tell me what do you want me to do, to go to take the package to Fedex or i can just keep it , (its a printer) what i want to know too is if they have to pay the package? UPS delivery the package till somebody open the door, but FedEx doesnt.

Just call 1800 463 3339 (1800gofedex) let them know what happened they will send someone to pick it up. Many times fed ex employees are under time restraints and have package commitment times and my be in a rush. Also sometimes streets are not labeled at all and house numbers are hard to find. and packages get left at the wrong houses. Just as noone else is absolutely perfect at their job. Also the guy could have been new. As far as knocking on the door we deliver to the house not the person. If the shipper wanted us to knock he could have choses the Direct signature option which requires us to get a signature to release the package. If they did not choose this we drop it off.

The person who PAID FOR that printer OWNS it. Just because FedEx left in in error does NOT mean you can keep it.

And please don't use the "I don't know their phone number" excuse. You are online. Go to the FedEx website, get the customer service number and CALL THEM.

How on earth is FedEx suppose to pick up a package they incorrectly delivered if you don't TELL THEM?! YOU are responsible for telling them there was an error. YOU can be held liable if you keep the printer (and how do you know its a printer?). YOU need to call FedEx now.

That's why I prefer UPS than FedEx, more reliable and quicker service.
