Know as much as you can about the job, know why you want to work for them, and be prepared to talk about your strengths as they relate to the job. Why should they hire you? What special talents or skills would you bring to the workplace? They will likely ask you what weaknesses you have-- be prepared to answer in a way that shows you have overcome the weakness. Also, have a few questions prepared for them. One good question to ask is "who has been successful in this position?" When they tell you the characteristics of a successful person, link your characteristics to that. For instance, if they say a successful person in this job would have good attention to detail, mention your strong detail skills and give an example. Good luck!

Learn as much as you can about this company. If they have a website, review it. Dress appropriately (sytled hair, clean shoes) and have fresh breath. Not kidding on that one! Don't wear cologne b/c as you start to sweat-which you probably will-your body heat could really turn up the scent. If they offer you something to drink-take it. It will work in your favor for if you need a moment to compose yourself for an answer you can take a sip. Try and relax. The employer probably knows you are stressed a bit. Try to think of some questions tonight you might have for the interviewer tomorrow-they always ask "are there any questions you have?" GOOD LUCK!!!

The most important thing is to let them dictate how the interview goes but you control what is said. If you feel something wasn't said by the end, use your final opportunity (you have any questions) to make a statement if it is need said.
I did the worst thing and tried to control the interview. I thought I was a shoo-in for the job and lost it because I came in too cocky.
Be ready for the common questions (best/worst about you? where do you see yourself in 5 years? etc) and act natural for the other questions that come at you.

Arrive a few minutes early.
Dress conservatively and neat.

Try to appear calm.
Be ready to answer questions such as:
1) What are your strengths?
2) What is your greatest weakness?
3) What can you bring to this firm?
4) Why did you leave your last job?
The worst things you can do in a job interview:

Leave your cellphone on.
Hope these help.

nicely from the viewpoint of technicality and legality, you do have a case. Any own study demands authorization. No company can examine your credit or criminal history devoid of you signing a paper. The employers try this thinking applicant has no clue whilst he's interior for interview. yet those days in the age of severe speed information superhighway hidden cameras and different technologies are very regularly occurring

Besides the obvious: show up early, dress respectfully, be clean, etc...do some research on the company and offer something in your field towards making yourself a valuable employee.
Reverse the situation and say you are the company....what do you want from an employee??
Make yourself stand out, and in a professional way.

ABSOLUTE WORST! bring your cell phone and don't turn it off. Or wear an earpiece.I was once interviewing someone and their cellphone went off. I told them, answer your cellphone, then you can leave.
Best thing. Relax(the best you can), look the person in the eye, call them Mr, Miss, Mrs, unless told otherwise, sit up straight, and answer directly and don't knock previous employers.
Good luck! Let us know how you did.

The worst thing you could do is: sweat,be annoying in any way, stumble on words/choke. The best you could do is smile and answer the questions you are asked (making it sound like you know what you're talking about)
