Not really. They arent going to make any new teams in the next expansion few years. Alot of people are saying that Vegas is the next place for an expansion team to go. But if they expand one team, they will need another to even things out. I do not know what teams are looking to move, but I have heard the Kings. Why would they move to Oklahoma City when they can make tons of money in Sacramento or even in Vegas. Not looking too good for a team there any time soon.

Yes, how many times have we seen it that if you put a major sports team in a realatively small city it is a huge success.

In the NBA you have Sacramento, Salt Lake City (the former Delta Center would get umbelieveably loud when the Jazz had their great teams in the late 90's), San Antonio, and once upon a time (late 80's-early 90's) Portland.

In the NFL there is no stronger fan base than the one of the Green Bay Packers (and I'm a huge bears fan). Also Jacksonville's fans are pretty die hard.

I don't know much about the NHL but I live in the bay area and San Jose has a big following. I've also heard Columbus' fans are very loyal.

In baseball, there isn't a good example because all teams are in city with another major team in it.
