why do you think that what makes it any greater than canada or amsterdam????
personally i think canada is the greatest country and why shouldnt it be

Well, move to Canada, hon. Everyone should live in the country they feel is the greatest. Just one thing - do it legally. I love it in the US though, so I'm staying.

i don't think this is the best country in the world.South Africa went through apparteid which is basicall y the whole segregation civil rights thing too. they have made a better progression than here. i mean here every thing looks good on the outside but look skin deep and you find hatred,ignorance,and resentment. In South Africa there is no color boundarie and people are free from that kind of judgement but i mean look at yahoo answer and some of those questions tell you how some americans deeply feel.

I believe people should go to whatever country they think is the best. Try it for a couple of years. If it ain't all rosy, keep looking for another but don't come back to the U.S. It gave you what you got if you live here and if you want to give it up for a prayer in some other place, go to it.

I used to think that and I want to believe that, but the Republican Conservatives has seen to it that the U.S. has been downgraded to just maybe a good country. The Bush administration with the backing of the Republican Conservatives, has greatly damaged the reputation of the U.S. as leader of the world with the invasion of Iraq.

i think America is the greatest if you are looking at force and power. But we are not the best in attitude and behaivor.
I think some of us should get our acts together. most of us dont have a problem and are perfectly nice people, but those few people who think they are better than everybody....
