I would not have worded this question the way you did, but it is interesting. The two screaming the loudest about this are Sharpton and Jackson, neither of which has credibility and both have run for president on the Democratic Ticket. I think honestly, it was a horrible thing to say, and completely out of line. That being said, worse has been said about President Bush, Laura Bush their daughters, Rice, Chenney, etc. on Yahoo and libs justify it. Funny how blurred the lines can be isn't it??? It should just be right or wrong.

If you've ever watched the Imus Show, you'd know he
is always saying derogatory things, even about those
on his own MSNBC show, candidates, personalities,
and occasionally (but rarely) his own wife. He never
says anything bad about his son Wyatt however. He
just has a "put-down" personality daily, and I don't
think the Rutger"s team was treated any different by
him>>>>maybe this problem will help straighten him up>

truly it replace right into a stupid, insulting remark. i do no longer think of that's a racist remark, even if. It wasn't a remark bearing on the participant's race yet particularly their collective hairstyles. Being "nappy-headed" isn't the unique area of blacks (regardless of the certainty that there are a lot who might desire to be called that); there are others who're no longer black who might desire to be called such to boot. The "ho" remark, i do no longer probable understand why that fluctuate into suggested, except Imus basically spit it out off the cuff. i understand that comments have been additionally made up of numerous of the girls being heavily tattooed and performing "tough-finding" yet how that would lead them to "hos" i don't understand. That being suggested, Sharpton, Jackson, et al are finding for yet another risk to extra their time table by skill of annoying Imus' firing and putting yet another "whitey", "honky", or despite in his/her place, all interior the call of political correctness. Imus will proceed his occupation in radio, no count if he's fired for this or no longer.

Its perhaps more important that he initially lied about it, then admitted it, after they told him they had it on tape.
