Of course they're going to say vitamin supplements don't work, they can't make any money off of them, and doctors are nothing but pharmaceutical prostitutes anyway.

Yea, they're not quick to warn you of the many dangers of the plethora of poison pills they prescribe, but oh, those vitamin supplements....Unbelievable.

You would realize the limitation of vitamin supplements if you took courses in biochemistry, physiology and pharmacology as doctors do. With vitamins, small amounts are essential, more is unnecessary and sometimes potentially harmful. With a good diet, you don't need supplements.

It's unfortunate you have such a low opinion of members of the medical profession. What do you think of the hucksters who play into this, selling their snake oils in their infomercials?

What I've been told is that vitamins pass through your body quickly and you basically just pee them out. Food with vitamins goes through a slow digestion process, giving the vitamins chance to be absorbed in your system.

You may want to try Vituma. It's a prescription multivitamin that is time released and passes slowly through your body. It's $1400 for a 30 day supply. Ask your doctor or pharmacist (LOL) :)
