normal. You were not BORN the same time and day that your friends were so you're not gonna develop that same time and day that they do. Sheesh, understand that it will come and you'll be pining for the days like this again.

all girls are different. I would say stop worrying about it if your not yet 15. If by 15 and 1/2 or so still nothing and everything else is developing normally, have your mom make you an appt. to see a gynocologist. Are you very athletic? If so, thats another reason some girls are later starters than others. If everything else is seemingly normal right now, don't stress out about it. Believe me, you won't be that thrilled with the whole mess anyway. :)

First of all, your doctor is really the best person to answer this. There are "normal" reasons for the delay of menarche (the onset of your period) and then there are notsogood ones, like hormonal imbalances and some cases of malnutrition.

That said, you can get your first period as late as 16.

One useful guide is when other women in your family got their periods. If both your mom and any female relatives on your dad's side developed late then it's likely to be "normal".

Haha hunny relaxxx i'm fifteen myself and i JUST got it. Everyone else had theres before mine but thats doesn't mean you or me were weird or have a problem. Everybody gets them at different times any age between 11-16 is normal. And personally i liked getting mine later all my other friends were 12years old and complaining about cramps. The way i see it if you got the bod and such, your happy, and you don't have to deal with all the monthly shabang..life's good!

Everyone starts their period at different times. I got mine in 7th grade, but dont be worried if you haven't yet. I heard once that once you reach 100 pounds, you are more likely to get it soon. Looks really have nothing to do with starting it. Just be patient; it will come. Although, i wish i didn't have mine. Its such a bother. :-)

You are normal. Girls can get it as young as 8, as old as 16, and still be normal. Find out when the women in your family started theirs--that is probably about the best indicator you can get and it is by no means 100%.

Some girls don't start their period til their 16, but your period could come at any time now.

I would recommend also discussing this concern with your mom and also your dr to see what they think.
