I think that like most celebrity couples they "grew apart." I think these two are very savvy because despite their seperation and pending divorce they are still doing print ads of them looking like a couple and posing with their two children. Baby Phat/Phat Farm is a huge business and neither one of them is going to sink the ship. Whatever people may think about Kimora she came up with the idea for Baby Phat and made a fortune for Russell Simmons. She parlayed his Phat Farm into kids clothing, perfumes, shoes, etc. It was a mutually beneficial relationship, out of which came two beautiful kids and tons of publicity.

good move on her part. HE started pursuing her when she was 16 and he was like in his thirties gross. back when she was modeling with tyra banks. he is prolly all she knows as far as a serious relationship. you shouldnt RAISE a wife. its weird. now she has a great family and a ridiculously successful business. with all his wholistic living and meditation stuff she probably wasnt seeing his vision anymore. he changed since back in the day. not that it is bad to change but some fallout can be expected.

I do not like her but she will GET a lot more than she brought into this marriage. She did make lots of money with his money.
