Wow - you are in sync. However this is what I would do:

1) Pull out all US troops from Iraq
2) Create a universal health care plan - I'm not from Canada but, obviously that country is doing something right about their health care system
3) Repeal the tax cuts for the rich to balance the budget
4) Raise the minimum wage - if all of us made minimum wage and all were single who could pay their mortgage and or rent? We all would be living under a bridge. Minimum wage is below poverty level.
5) Revamp airline security - including those who enter our country and leave the country.

I guess that's 5 but, excellent question. I'm going to watch this one and see others answers.

UPDATE:
Exactly what Johnnie stated: Stop all Outsourcing of Jobs to Foreign Countries -----(I forgot about that one!!!!)

UPDATE:

#1 Institute a universal flat tax.
#2 Send more troops, Head east and deal with Iran now as opposed to later.
#3 Who will pay for it? the rich who you just lowered their tax? This would never work economically as the additional money they are now paying in taxes is not going back into the economy. This means they would not be expanding their businesses, creating more jobs and expanding the economy. It would end up going down the same road as Social Security. Make medicare a private enterprise. With the government involved it will never work. I am willing to bet 40%+ of all medicare funds go's straight into "administartive costs" Look at Canadas govt run helthcare system. Do you like waiting in line? Make the system private. Get the Govt out.
#4 Its not unpatriotic. I would strengthen it. But it does need a few modifications.
#5 I had to add #5. I would push for term limits for all elected offices. The President is limited to 2 years, why not Senate and House? And while were at it how about #6
#6 Eliminate the practice of tacking on Pork to every bill that comes down the pike. All Bills must include ONLY for the main intent of the Bill. If someone wants 4 billion for tuning their grandmothers glockenspeil let them debate it in open forum and put it out in the open.

1. Institute Public funding of elections to remove corporate influence. Make Lobbying illegal.

2. Repeal the tax cuts for the wealthy and make Social Security solid for the foseeable future.

3. Institute a Marshall Plan for Iraq. Reinvest the profits from the oil industry into rebuilding Iraq instead of just giving it to multinational corporations.

4. Institute Single-Payer National Healthcare and allow private industry to try and compete with it.

#1- Tax cuts for the rich actually keeps their money in this country. They are the ones that provide jobs. I would actually cut taxes for small business owners. They are the ones that are providing jobs in this country.
2. Universal Health Care.... I would actually institute a Government Insurance Program that would compete with privatized insurance program, and ALL doctors would be mandated to accept it. Co pays would be based on what their income is. This program is available to everyone, but you don't have to take it.
3.Repair relationships with our allies. We have used and abused our allies to suit our needs. Not a way to treat your friends.
4. End the drug war and decriminalize it. (I'm not a druggie, I just see first hand it hasn't worked) Instead of funding it, use that funding towards rehabilitative technologies. That would almost overnight destroy the illegal drug economy and reduce crime damn near overnight.

1 Cut the increase in dicretionary spending by 50%

2 Build a fence on the southern border and double the Border Patrolanpower and funding

3. Move towards letting people 40 and under do private investing instead of SS

4. Introduce tort reform to help alleviate the cost of health care and insurance (so Doctors do not have to spend so much on malpractice insurance).

BTW Anthony you mean you would eliminate these tax breaks and set them back to the level of 2000? Thanks for wanting to raise my taxes since my rate would go from 28% to 31%. Everytime a liberal spouts off about "eliminate tax breaks for the rich" I laugh and provide these links that I know they will not read or they will say the rich know how to hide money....

1. I would line the border with tanks and get rid of all illegals.
2. I would give full authority to the generals and remove the knife in the back of all american soldiers called Rules of Engagement. They will have 1 year of uncontrolled freedom to wage war against insurgents.
3. I would reduce all taxes and everyone will be taxed equally except for the news media.
4. I would destroy a Universal Health Care Plan and reduce Medicare making those who don't need it less slothful and more productive.
