I don't mind it at all. Seems old timers like to do it mostly. And If I'm doing it, I'm usually up to no good. ;)

OMG I have no tolerance for whistling whatsoever. I can't stand it. My father used to whistle jazz improv-type tunes all through the house. I think it contributed to my post-traumatic stress disorder, cuz I never knew when that shrill, piercing, strident sound would pierce the air and penetrate my skull. I am seriously not kidding about the stress disorder thing; that whistling affected me so much that, to this day, when someone begins to whistle I have to evacuate the immediate area.

I love to hear people whistling! To this day I have never been able to whistle, and I wish I could.

I can whistle and don't do it often. However, my husband does it quite frequently. I wouldn't mind it if he weren't whistling along with the radio!! I hate it more than like it! It's too high pitched for someone that gets frequent migraines or carries a steady thought!

I whistle at my husband all the time! When he comes home and bends down to pick up the paper, I enjoy the view and cat whistle out the window just to get him going. He really likes it and finds it flattering, he just pretends to be modest in front of the neighbors!

Most of the time it drives me crazy and I tell whoever is whistling to please stop it is very annoying!

most people can not whistle.....it reminds me of a spider sliding down a razor blade using it's b*lls as brakes!!!
