Yes i do. A thumbs up makes me think "Alright, someone agrees with me" and a best answer makes me feel i helped brighten someone's day.

Yes, it feels good. But the trick is not to let it make you feel bad when you don't get best answer or when you get thumbs down. That's harder.

yes! every 20 minutes, i check my recent questions to see if i got a thumbs up or a thumbs down; or if anybody even RATED it(because sometimes no one will rate your answers)
