A doctor cannot tell if you are a virgin or not. NO one can tell if you're a virgin or not by just looking at you. The hymen is not an indicator of virginity as it can be torn long before a girl's first sexual encounter, and may not even tear after a girl's first sexual encounter.
I highly doubt that any doctor would even agree to "check you" to see if you're a virgin, because there is no way to tell, and I hardly think it's any of your mother's business if your hymen is intact, anyway.

I'd like to assert here that the mother does have the right to have her daughter examined by a physician. If sexually active, the mom has a right to know as you put yourself out there for STD's and early teen pregnancy...both which could have dire consequences.I'm not speaking to this girl's specific issues with her mother, but in general. Mom has the job of keeping you safe and healthy!

It sound like your hymen maybe broken, but it could only be a small tear and the majority may still be intact. But, assuming it is completely broken, when the doctor spreads the entrance to the vagina if it is difficult, and slightly painful to you, then the doctor will know you are a virgin. The doctor may want to insert a vaginal spreader and when he/she does, it should be slightly painful -- the reason is that if you are a virgin, the muscles at the entrance to the vagina have never been stretched. It is more an ache than a pain.

Don't let your mom check. Your mom is probably trying to scare you. She can't force you legally to go to the doctor to see if you're a virgin or not in the U.S. or similar countries. She can't even check your hymen without a doctor legally. If she does it when you don't want her to, you have every right to call the cops. At least in some countries.
If this is true do me a favor, don't listen to anything your family tells you.

your mom needs a therapist! There is NO reliable test for virginity. Some women arent even born with an "in tact" hymen. I hope the doc lets your mom have it and suggests that you two work on communication and trust issues.

to be honest, not every girl is born with a hymen i wasn't.
and neway its dr./ patient confidentially he/she cannot tell anyone information about you even if it is your mom. unless your a small child but if your asking this cuz your mom thinks your not a virgin i would assume your not that young, so i wouldn't worry about it. It's just her way to get you to fess up to something even if your not. well good luck neway.

omg! talk about invasion of privacy!
i would refuse her to do that just because im a ***** and don't care what my mom thinks
doctor's can't tell because the way you tell (i don't remember the name) is usually stretched or ripped way before you ever have a doctor check, not by having sex, but just because that's normal

All I can tell you is to not listen to "Clays mom" because inserting a tampon doesn't make you not a virgin!!!

What was you doing when you bleed? If it was anythign that had insertion then you are probably not a virgin anymore sorry. Better fess up to mom. The hyman doesnt break on its own has to have pressure applied to it.
