Well, Italy is the home of Leonardo da Vinci, and spaghetti and meatballs.
But, Germany has great jelly donuts and Mozart.
Hmmm. Since I'm an American, I get all of it. I'm quite happy the way I am, thank you.

I'd rather be human plain and simple, which is what I am but learnt (by choice) Italian, am learning German, am French and learnt English and Spanish and won't stop until I speak as many as I can possible learn until I reach the very first one we ever had as a human, Hebrew... then I'll be satisfied... Until then, everything is a learning process and a work in progress. Why the need to compare when time and unforeseen occurrences befall us all and this is often what will determine what we will or will not learn next?

German. I hate the influence of the Vatican on Italian Politics.
But if I went to Germany I'd miss out on Italy's museums, gelato stands, and ancient artwork! It's a tough call.
Ah hell, I choose Italy. They're still more secular than the U.S.
