Easiest and cheapest way is to get an old towel soak it put it down the toilet and use it like a plunger. This should solve the problem in moments

Buy one of the compressed air cans made for fixing clogs. Just stick it in and push down and the air wooshes into the pipe and forces the clog out. Much better than any liquid junk.

Really, unless you want to pay a plumber to come out, I would go buy a plunger and start there. 95% of the time that will do it.

Why not purchase a closet auger? It is specifically designed to unstop toilets. They range in price from $15-$50. Simple to use! Good luck!

i'm with the guy who said to dump a bucket of water. Make sure it's done quickly though - the force of the water should push open on through the blockage. IF you pour it too slow it will just add to the water that's not going down!

put it in at least 6 inches take an old towl jam it around it as well as you can press in place with a mop or broom handle now turn on the hose use 2 people as you need to push on the towl to prevent the water from coming back up and to yell to turn it off if theres a problem
