That is extremely interesting, because I always thought that our solar system was part of the Andromeda galaxy.

Actually our sun doesn't orbit the center of Andromeda galaxy at any time!
The Andromeda Galaxy and the Milky Way are approaching one another at a speed of 100 to 140 kilometers per second (62–87 miles/sec.).

Andromeda Is another galaxy.....(like the Milky Way)
and the Milky Way and Andromeda Rotate around some unknown great atrracter(it might be know).
The Sun(solar System) Roatates around the Center of the Milky way,Over the course of about 900 mill -1 billion years (maybe not sure)..

the sun doesn't rotate around the center of the galaxy Andromeda. Andromeda is a completely different galaxy.

The galactic year, the time taken for our sun to orbit our galactic centre (not Andromeda) is about 230 million years.
